  • After spending a number of years as a road car in it’s early life, this particular car was purchased by Bob Watson, of Bob Watson engineering. Under Bob’s ownership, the car was race prepared and competed across the UK and Europe, even setting a lap record at Zandvoort!
  • The history file contains a number of fantastic photographs of the car competing in period.
  • The car was later retired from the track and spent a number of years off of the road.
  • From 2010 onwards, an extensive restoration has been completed to the following tune:
    • 2010 – Extensive body restoration including multiple new panels and a full repaint in the factory colour of Tangerine
    • 2017 – Robert Walker engineering overhauled the cylinder heads
    • 2017 – Octane of Crowborough overhauled the engine with new Mahle 2.4E barrels, pistons, big ends and main bearings
    • 2019/2020 – Carrera Performance rebuilt the suspension and gearbox
  • The current owner purchased the car from Rindt Vehicle Design in December 2020.
  • Since then, the owner has properly looked after and maintained the car, with invoices totaling in excess of £7,000. Some of the works include:
    • New injectors
    • Full fuel pump calibration
    • Regular servicing
    • Bodywork maintenance
