VEHICLE DETAILS
ABOUT THIS CAR
THE MODEL
The Porsche 997 was introduced as the successor to the Porsche 996, with production running from 2004 until 2011.
The 997 had many changes over it’s predecessor, but these could largely be seen in the aesthetics of the car. It did away with the “fried egg” head lamps which had always caused large controversy, and replaced them with a far more traditional looking set of headlamps in keeping with the brand’s history.
A slight power increase across the range was seen, which was largely to do with the increase in engine size.
After a break in the 996 line up, the return of the Carrera 2S was also seen within the life of the 997.
THIS CAR
This 997 Carrera 4S was delivered new to Porsche Centre West London on the 20th of October 2006.
The car has spent most of its life in London, until its previous owner took it to the South West in late 2020.
It’s been serviced and maintained in line with Porsche’s guidelines throughout its whole life.
The car is offered with an impressive history file, containing an exhaustive list of service receipts and maintenance reports (please see our Documentation section for a full gallery).
