VEHICLE DETAILS
ABOUT THIS CAR
First registered by Bath Garages Limited as a Morris Mini Cooper Mk II on the 25th September 1968.
Originally finished in Snowberry White with a black roof.
The car has since been rebuilt and devloped as a historic rally car and has formed part of HERO-ERA's rally fleet for the past five years.
It is currently powered by a 1275cc engine, paired with a new gearbox and clutch.
Throughout its ownership with HERO-ERA, the car has been meticulously maintained and continually developed. That's one of the great advantages of purchasing one of their ex-fleet cars – they have been thoroughly tested and proven in the environment for which they were built.
The accompanying history file contains an extensive collection of invoices and documentation from the past five years, making for impressive reading and providing excellent evidence of the car's maintenance and development.
While every effort is made to ensure our historic rally cars are prepared to a high standard, buyers should appreciate that these are competition vehicles. By their very nature, participation in historic rallying places unique demands on both mechanical and electrical systems, and faults can arise despite thorough preparation. Prospective buyers should therefore budget for ongoing maintenance, recommissioning, and event preparation costs as an expected part of ownership.
